1. Publisher and scope
Boki and getboki.app are operated by Palm Three LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, USA, registration number 3059611. Principal and mailing address: 704 Wallace St, Suite 382, Clovis, NM 88101, USA. Contact: hello@getboki.app. These terms describe the use of Boki without limiting mandatory consumer rights. See our privacy policy for data processing.
2. The Boki service
Boki teaches photography through lessons, challenges, composition guides, a camera and image analysis. Lessons, guides and challenges are free; analysis uses the credits available on your account. AI feedback is educational, may contain errors and does not guarantee results. Keep copies of your photos and stay safe while taking them.
On the website (getboki.app/start), a first lesson and one photo analysis are offered for free in the browser, without an account.
3. Access and saving progress
You can start without signing up using an anonymous profile. It has a technical identifier; anonymous access does not mean that all data is anonymized. You can optionally save your progress with Apple in settings. Losing your session or reinstalling without saving may prevent recovery of progress. Restoring eligible Apple purchases restores purchase rights, not necessarily your photo and learning history.
4. Premium offers
Reference prices below apply in the USA (USD) and euro-area countries (EUR). The price, currency, applicable taxes and terms Apple displays before confirmation govern your purchase; other countries have local prices.
- Weekly: $4.99 or €4.99 per week, with 5 analyses per week.
- Annual: $49.99 or €49.99 per year, with 30 analyses per month.
- Annual welcome offer, when eligible and offered: $39.99 or €39.99 for the first year, then $49.99 or €49.99 per year, with 30 analyses per month.
- Lifetime: a one-time payment of $89.99 or €89.99, with 30 analyses per month and 200 extra analyses granted once on purchase. Lifetime does not automatically renew.
On the getboki.app website, until the app is released on the App Store, two plans are offered in euros, with the same quotas as in the app: early annual at €24.99 for the first year, then €49.99 per year (launch price reserved for a first purchase), and Lifetime at €89.99 as a one-time payment (200 extra analyses granted once at purchase). The price including taxes shown before payment prevails.
5. Included and extra analyses
Included allowances reset from the purchase date, weekly for Weekly and monthly for Annual and Lifetime. Unused included analyses do not roll over. Included analyses are used before extras.
Purchased or gifted extras stack, never expire and remain usable after Premium ends. Only Premium users can buy new packs: 30 analyses for $3.99 or €3.99, or 80 for $8.99 or €8.99. Balances are shown in the app. Refunds revoke the corresponding rights and remaining credits.
6. Payment, renewal and refunds
Apple processes payments. Weekly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings before renewal. Renewal pricing is shown at purchase. Request refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s rules and your statutory rights.
Buying Lifetime, deleting Boki or deleting your Boki account does not automatically cancel an existing Apple subscription. Use Manage subscription to stop renewal. Lifetime does not automatically refund previous subscription payments. Mandatory withdrawal rights and guarantees remain applicable; these terms alone do not waive a withdrawal right.
Purchases on the website: payment is collected by Stripe and the subscription is managed by RevenueCat, on behalf of Palm Three LLC. The amount is charged at purchase. The annual subscription renews each year, at the regular price after the first year, unless cancelled before the renewal date from the subscriber area linked in the confirmation email. After payment, a link activates the purchase in the Boki app on iPhone; it is valid for one hour, and a new link is emailed if it has expired. A purchase made on the website cannot be restored from the App Store and is not managed in Apple settings.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have 14 days from a purchase on the website to withdraw without giving any reason, by writing to hello@getboki.app. You are refunded no later than 14 days after your request, using the payment method you used. For any other refund request about a website purchase, write to us.
7. Your content and permitted use
You retain rights to your photos and text and authorize only the hosting, private display and processing necessary for your requested service. Boki does not publish them to a community. Promotional use requires separate permission. Only submit content you are entitled to use and respect the rights of people photographed. Illegal content, impersonation, attacks and fraudulent circumvention of purchases or quotas are prohibited.
8. Intellectual property
Boki’s software, lessons, interface, mascot and brands belong to the publisher or their respective owners. Personal use is permitted under applicable licenses, including the standard Apple EULA for the iOS app.
9. Deletion and availability
Delete your account or progress from the account and progress section of Boki settings. Deletion removes account data and balances; it does not cancel Apple subscriptions. See the privacy policy for deletion details. Maintenance and incidents may interrupt service. Proportionate measures may be taken against fraud, subject to statutory rights. Material changes affecting paid offers will be notified in advance.
Deleting your Boki account does not cancel a subscription purchased on the website either: cancel it from the subscriber area.
10. Contact and changes
Send requests or complaints to hello@getboki.app. Legally available remedies, competent courts and mandatory protections in your country of residence remain available. These terms exclude no statutory consumer rights. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
